Enerpac has launched its RP-70A hydraulic rail stressor and ZC3-Series battery powered stressing pump which offers a cordless, light-weight, zero emission, rail stressor kit for rail observe thermite welding.
Traditional totally assembled rail pullers are too heavy for operators to comfortably transport and deploy safely and quickly. The Enerpac RP70A stressor uses modular elements that can be assembled and put in on site with out the need for tools, making preparation for rail stressing simpler and safer. Assembly usually takes lower than two minutes.
The Enerpac rail stressing equipment is designed for railway maintenance crews who assemble and set up the rail puller instantly on web site when adjusting the hole between rail ends for rail stressing, rail welding, repairing rail failures and servicing insulators. The sturdy, easy meeting components, together with Enerpac ZC3-Series pump and hose set, are up to 3 times lighter than comparable tools. The full package can be transported in an optionally available specially designed metal transport frame.
